Men's Precisionist bracelet watch silver white dialDomed mineral crystal with rose gold metalized rim; Beveled dauphine hands with flat tip and tail, luminous filled middleStainless steel case and braceletCalendarWater resistant to 99 feet (30 M): withstands rain and splashes of water, but not showering or submersion The world’s most accurate watch with a continuously sweeping second hand. Most quartz watches are accurate to within 15 seconds/month. Precisionist is accurate to within 10 seconds/year.From the Precisionist Longwood Collection. Masterfully intricate, yet offering a smooth, dress subtlety, the classic Longwood Collection provides a continuous interplay of heights and tones, blending meticulous five-piece case construction with intricate eight-piece dials, elegant tone-on-tone swirl pattern dials, and satin and polished case and bracelet finishes.Precisionist Technology With Precisionist, Bulova has added a third prong to a standard two prong quartz crystal creating a torsional resonator. This innovation results in eight times the vibration frequency of a traditional quartz watch resulting in the most accurate watch with a continuously sweeping second hand. The aesthetic movement of the second hand becomes the symbol to the consumer of Bulova Precisionist and signals a watch with accuracy so exceptional, you can see it. The technology is accurate to 10 seconds per year as compared to most other quartz watches, which are accurate to fifteen seconds per month. Summary of Features• Precisionist Movement• Calendar window• Luminous Markers• Water resistance to 30 meters• Stainless steel with rose-gold and silver finish case and bracelet• Domed metalized crystal About Bulova In 1875, Joseph Bulova, a 23-year-old immigrant from Bohemia, set up shop in New York City and a legendary American watch brand was born. Since that time, Bulova has stood proudly in the vanguard of timekeeping innovation, committed to the legacy of creativity and excellence established by its founder.A pioneering force in the industry, Bulova transformed how watches were worn and how time was perceived, registering over 50 patents as he and his company built a record of creativity including the first full lines of men’s and ladies’ wristwatches (1919 and 1924). To ensure the utmost in precision, in 1920, Bulova even established its own observatory – located atop its New York skyscraper. With the same spirit of innovation, following World War II, determined “to serve those who served us,” Bulova established The Bulova School of Watchmaking, using new and unique methods to train disabled veterans for positions in the watch and jewelry industry. Then, in 1960, Bulova changed timekeeping forever with the revolutionary Accutron, the world’s first fully electronic watch. An integral component of U.S. space technology, Accutron timing was used on 46 NASA missions, including Apollo XI, the first lunar landing (1969).Today, this dedication to creativity continues, with Bulova the only brand to offer three distinct timekeeping technologies – quartz, mechanical and Precisionist. One of the world’s most recognized brands, Bulova continues to maintain its position at the forefront of the timekeeping industry, upholding an extraordinary heritage of achievement in design, style and technology as it expands to meet the needs of a diverse global audience.

I was impressed with both the innovative technology, and the looks of the Bulova Precisionist series when they began hitting the retail market last Fall. So much so, that my Precisionist collection now numbers six (6), with this model being the most recent. As a result, I had a bit of insight into what I might expect. Make no mistake; this is a beautiful timepiece, particularly if one prefers a larger, heavier wristwatch, and its accuracy is in keeping with what I've come to expect from Bulova Precisionist. Then why not a five star rating? I found it VERY odd that it arrived with NO TAGS; unlike any of the five Precisionists I had previously in my collection. In addition, I could not help but notice that the Bulova box cover lacked the foam insert that is present in all the others I have; also a bit strange. So while my Bulova 98B141 appears "new", as a result of these seemingly small omissions, I'm still left to wonder; something that should not be an issue at this price level. There really isn't much more to say... this watch is simply stunning. Rather heavy, but feels good on your wrist. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces is beautiful. The bracelet is lovely, and the 'no clasp' look is great. I tried to wait until I could actually see one of these in person in a store before I bought it, but I was always a day behind the last one being sold so went online and trusted the Bulova name. Absolutely no regrets! The watch is beautiful and is almost as accurate as it is supposed to be. BUT...the color on the rose colored links has begun to wear off after only 2 weeks of wearing the watch. I have sent the watch to Bulova and so far I haven't heard anything from them other than they have received it. Go for the all stainless steel links and avoid this worry!Update: I received the watch back from Bulova with a note that said that they replaced the band for free, but next time I would have to pay for the replacement. Well...It has been three days since I starting wearing the watch with its replacement band and the rose gold links on the top of the bracelet are already losing the rose color. NOT GOOD!AVOID THIS MODEL WATCH!This is one awesome looking watch! Given it's obvious attribute of extreme accuracy and being a respected name brand it's a dress watch to be proud of that you can depend on. Not to be melodramatic I was overwhelmed with it's beauty the instant I saw it.The watch has a beautiful finish, the second hand moves with a nice smooth sweeping action. The quality of the strap if nice with no rough edges.the clasp is easy to fasten and has a good locking mechanism.the only thing remains to be seen is does the battery last 3 years as stated?Like the price and shape, but with seconds hands won't move as soon as he took, replacing the batteries. I think we were a problem if I could ask you a gift my father.Beautiful, elegant. My last watch. Thanks Bulova..Very nice watch, very good, recommended.I got this watch about 10 months ago and works just great. I like the swiping second hand on it and it keeps very good time no loose or gain of time .perfect. as advertisedGreat price, great watch.
